Want to Help?

There are several ways in which you can support The Empathy Experiment. Your help makes a real difference and is very much appreciated.

Food

The need for food is constant and is the backbone of what we do. If you would like to donate food, here are some of the items we use in lunches:

  1. Smooth peanut butter—We go through a lot of peanut butter!
  2. Jelly—Any jelly will do, just not the absolute cheapest, as it tends to be very watery and will make the sandwiches soggy.
  3. Toaster Treats (i.e., generic Pop Tarts)
  4. Lunch size bags of chips
  5. Soft granola or breakfast bars

Dog and Cat food—Many people have pets. We do our best to provide pet food when possible.

If you would like to donate food, please email, text, or call. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Miscellaneous Items

Here are a handful of needed items that aren’t food or clothing. These items can be real game changers. Hand and toe warmers help protect people’s fingers and toes from being badly injured by the cold. A tent can be the difference between having a modest shelter and having no shelter at all.

  1. Tents
  2. Blankets
  3. Sleeping bags
  4. Hand and toe warmers
